8.1 The Board of Directors may request representatives from member or non-member units, denominations/jurisdictions to serve as advisory members to the Board or Association committees. The advisory members might (for example) help address social concerns such as: gambling, reconciliation, ecumenical/interfaith dialogue, and the unchurched.

8.2 Advisory members have the right of voice but without vote.
