ARTICLE II - PURPOSE

 2.1  In order that Christians, whose knowledge and experience are rooted in different histories and traditions, may increase their common Christian understanding and common Christian action in the world, we do establish a covenant relationship to accomplish the following objectives

      2.1.1   To discover and further, through creative forums, the unity we have in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; and

2.1.2   To make that unity manifest to the world; and

2.1.3   To help fulfill Christ's mission in this time and place; and

2.1.4   To do those things that we may together do more effectively and efficiently than separately; and

2.1.5       To do those things that we ought or must do together.
