R.I.C. Services

The Rural Initiative Center offers help in a range of advisory and consultative services which include:

FEASIBILITY - Discussion, review and design of possible methods to evaluate the commerical potential of the proposed business; exploration of alternative procedures.

BUSINESS PLANS - Development of brief written statements of the objectives, organization, methods of production or provision of services, marketing and financial plans.

ORGANIZATION - Exploration of possible ways of using human and financial resources to achieve an efficient operational system.

MARKETING - Determination of varied ways by which the product or service may be successfully marketed to provide maximum distribution and profits.

TECHNICAL AND RESEARCH SERVICES - Identification and location of sources able to provide technical or research services to develop or improve products or services or provide solutions to other varied problems.

PRODUCTION - Assistance in development of simple, economic and reliable production systems which will satisfy health and safety requirements.

FINANCE - The Rural Initiative Center is not a financial agency and does not provide financing for businesses.  The Center may provide financial advice and, in some cases, may help locate sources of loans or venture capital.

COMMUNITY, ORGANIZATIONAL SERVICES - Assistance in planning community development programs, resource assessments, goals and objectives, workshops, seminars and public addresses.
