The Need

When distance is a factor, some family and friends visit only several times a year -- if at all.  When penitentiary inmates are locked away from all they have held near and dear before, they are lonely because they feel forgotten, forsaken, and rejected by society.  they need someone who will come visit as a friend; otherwise, they "do hard time."
